TAEKWONDO YOUNGSTERS READY FOR WORLDS

Jordan’s U14 team now know their opponents for the opening rounds of the 3rd World Taekwondo Championship for Cadets taking place in Egypt from August 24-27.

Zeid Hijazin will compete against Saudi Arabia’s Mohammad Al Sweeq in the -65kg while Fahed Ammar will launch his campaign in the +64kg weight against Ukraine’s Dozoz Vladislave.

Zein Al Kabariti will face Chines Taipei’s Young Lee in the while, female, Jumana Al Asfar will compete against another Chinese Taipei’s opponent in Chia Yeeng.

Jordan has sent 14 fighters to the World Championships which have attracted over 400 athletes from 47 countries.
