ARMOUSH SET FOR WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan will be represented at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in London this week by middle distance runner Tamara Armoush.
The 23 year old, who lives in the UK, will compete in the 1500m with her heat on Friday at 9.35am Jordan time.
Forty of the world's best make up the field. Tamara has a personal best time of 4:18.25 clocked in the Watford Open Championships in June, but she knows she will have to better that time again to reach the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Jordan Athletics Federation President Sa’ed Hiyasat participated in the IAAF General Assembly meeting which was held on the sidelines of the World Championships which will welcome over 1,800 athletes representing 200 countries.
