FAISALI REACH TO ARAB FINALS

 Jordan league and cup double winners Faisali have reached the final of the Arab Clubs Championship after a stunning 2-0 win over Al Ahli tonight (Wednesday).

Played at the Arab Stadium, Alexandria, Faisali produced a superb performance to silence the fanatical home crowd and book a spot in Sunday’s final in Cairo.

Faisali’s Senegal star Dominik Mindi opened the scoring in the 26th minute, before Al Ahli defender Ahmad Fathi put the ball into his own net for the second 11 minutes later.

The Jordanians will now await the winners of Thursday’s other semi-final between Morocco’s Fatih Al Rubat and Tunisia’s Taraji.

Sunday’s final will kick off at 9pm Jordan time.
