BOXERS HEAD TO ASIAN YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS

With boxing on the up in Jordan, all eyes turn to the Kingdom’s promising youngsters who have arrived in Manila to compete at the 2017 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships.
Among those hoping to make their mark is Elis Abdulhadi who will meet Iraq’s Abulhadi Al Baydani in the 52kg on Wednesday.
Meanwhile Rashed Sueisat will meet India’s Vinit on Thursday in the quarter-final of the 75kg while Mohammad Al Yamani has a bye to the 57kg quarter-finals where he will face the winner of Korea’s Seonghun Goh and Thailand’s Tanawat Srijan 57kg.
