Haidar Al Rasheed came agonisingly close to clinching a medal at the World Games in Poland, having to settle for fourth place in the Ju-Jitsu.
Al Rasheed lost his semi-final 4-2 to Switzerland’s Daniel De Maddalena in the 85kg category.
Earlier he beat Russia’s Abdulbari Gussinov by submission to reach the quarter-final where he beat Kyrgyzstan’s Abdulrahman Murtazaliev.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Salameh lost in the quarter-final of Muaythai’s 81kg contest to Turkey’s Ali Dughan.
