TIME Swimmer Mohammed Bedour has clocked a B qualification time for next year’s Youth Olympic Games (YOG) that will be held in Buenos Aires.
Bedour continued Jordan’s excellent showing at the FINA World Championships in Hungary by setting a new personal best time of 24.15 seconds in the 50m Freestyle.
Last week he swam a B time in the 100m Freestyle to virtually guarantee a place on the plane next year to South America.
Meanwhile, two-time Olympian Talita Baqlah set another new national record, this time in the 50m butterfly in 28.22 to beat her previous best of 28.54.
There are two more races to go for the Jordan team with Dara Al Bakri competing in the 50m freestyle, while the team will go in the 4x100m mixed relay.
