DAGHLAS NAME THE ASIAN TEAM

Jordan Basketball coach Sam Daghlas has announced the team who will play in the 29th FIBA Asian Cup to be held in Lebanon from August 8. The team includes Mahmoud Abdein, Senan Eid, Malik Kan’an, Musa Al Awdi, Ahmad Hamarsheh, Sami Ebzeigh, Amin Abu Hawas, Yousef Abu Wazneh, Ahmad Obeid, Ali Jamal, Mohammad Shaher and Kevin Wyro.
The draw has placed Jordan in Group A alongside Iran, Syria and India and they will play Syria first on August 9 before meeting India on 11th and finally Iran in the last match on the 13th.
The team will head to Turkey for a training camp to prepare for competition.
