SERRAJ INTO WORLD QUARTER-FINALS

 Mohammad Serraj is through to the quarter-finals of the World U19 Squash Championships taking place in New Zealand.

Serraj took just over half an hour to beat Colombia’s Matias Knudsen.

The second seed said after his third win at the tournament: “I’m so happy to go through in one of the toughest championships I have ever played in and I will be ready for tomorrow."

Next up for the 18-year-old is Egypt’s Mustafa Asal with the match starting at 9am Jordan time.
