CHESS FINALS GET UNDERWAY

The first round of Kingdom Chess finals has started at the Jordan Royal Chess Federation at Al Hussein Youth City.
In early action, Baha’s Sa’ed beat Lu’ai Sameer while Sameer Mansour overcame Rakan Al Attar.
Reigning champion Ahmad Al Khateen started his defence by defeating Ghayda’ Al Attar, while Bushra Al Shu’aibi won against Marwan Al Abboudi.
Ra’fat Salim beat Seif Malik while Ibrahim Al Wahsh and Hafez Baker drew their match.
The Kingdom Chess finals consist of 10 rounds, where players will bid to collect points by winning their matches up until the final round on July 26.
