QUSAI HOLDS TRAINING COURSE FROM FRIDAY
Jul 11, 2017
Jordan’s efforts to improve the medical care and treatment for its athletes will be boosted this Friday when a week-long training course gets underway.
The Qusai Initiative, created by the Crown Prince Foundation and supervised by the Jordan Olympic Committee, will host the Sports Physiotherapy course from July 14-20 using facilitators from the World Federation of Athletic Training and Therapy.
The course aims to improve the capabilities of qualified trainers working in the sports industry when it comes to treating injuries suffered by athletes.
Twenty-four fresh graduates are expected to join the course where they will learn about therapy theories for four days and how to apply them for two days. Meanwhile, Qusai Initiative is preparing to hold another course from August 12 that will focus on concussion and head injuries.
