ATHLETICS HEAD TO ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

 Jordan is sending six athletes to compete at the 22nd Asian Athletics Championships that will take place in Odisha, India, from July 6–9.

The team has been going through an intensive camp in Jordan to prepare for the event and will travel in good heart following a respectable showing from the youth team at their recent Asian event.

The team includes Mus’ab Al Momani (Shot put), AbdulRahman Abu Hummus (200m, 400m), Alya Bushnaq (100, 400m), Shareif Al Atawneh (1500m) and Tamara Amroush (1500m).

Suleiman Nu’imat will head the delegation with administrative support from Razan Muqbeh.

The team will be coached by Kamal Al Mumani, Ata Al Balawi and Hussein Feddi.
