Anas Adarbeh will launch Jordan's campaign in the WTF World Taekwondo championships that will be held in Korea from June 23-30.
He will face Kazakhstan’s Akbar Aitakanuv in the -74kg on Sunday.
Olympic gold medalist Ahmad Abu Ghaush opens his account against the winner between Pakistan’s Mohammad Ikbal and Uganda’s Ogwalo Richard in the -68kg on Monday.
Juliana Al Saedq will play against Luxemburg’s Isabella Faber in female’s -67kg on the same day.
On Tuesday, Taleen Al Humaidi will meet Slovakia’s Gabriela Bohusova in the female’s -53kg, while Hamzeh Qattan will play against Algerian Muhsen Bukesheh for the 87kg on Wednesday.
Wa’ed Al Turman will play against Trinidad and Tobago Meghan Lawrence in the 73kg on Wednesday, while on Thursday Mohammad Asfour will play against Japan’s Issei Hamada in the -63kg.
Shahed Al Turman will be the last to compete on Friday by meeting Australia’s Maya Talino in the 62kg category.
The World Championships will welcome over 1000 players from 170 countries.
