MEDALS RUSH CONTINUES FOR YOUNG ACES

The future is looking very bright for Jordan in taekwondo after the Kingdom’s youngster won more medals at the Asian U14 Taekwondo Championships taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Following three medals on Day One, Jordan won another four medals on Wednesday with the first gold coming for Fahed Sbeih in the +65kg weight. Sbeih beat Kazakhstan’s Nurkhassaym Akhmad in the finals 44-21 to take the top prize having reached the final with a win over Iran’s Golyard Arshia.
Teammate Feisal AbdulJawad picked up a silver medal in the 57kg after losing the final to Iran’s Aghdam Parsa 23-11. Earlier he beat Kazakhstan’s Maripove Abdulrakhman 31-11 in his first match and then another Kazakhstani, Sabbegh Osama, 13-12 in the semi-final.
There were also bronze medals on Day Two secured by Ibrahim Asfar and Jumana Asfar.
