16 COACHES ATTENDED NCCP COURSE
May 24, 2017
Sixteen coaches have finished their National Coaching Certification Programme (NCCP) Level Two course and are now awaiting their evaluation.
The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) confirmed that the six-day course proved a success with the three modules providing the coaches with new techniques and skills that they can implement in their respective sports.
“It was a very productive group who all worked hard over the past six days,” said Narin Hajtass, the programme’s co-ordinator at the JOC. “The modules provide an invaluable learning experience which will help to lift the standard of sport here as a whole.”
The NCCP is an innovative course adopted by the JOC to improve the level of coaching across all sports in Jordan.
Those who pass the Level Two assessment can step up to the advanced Level Three course, while there will be opportunities for the others to re-sit the parts of Level Two that did not meet the assessor’s approval.
