JOC WELCOMES HOME MEDALLISTS

A delegation from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has welcomed home the Swimming and Shooting delegations that competed at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku. The teams arrived back to Queen Alia International Airport during the early hours with Kahder Baqlah who won two golds in 200m and 400m freestyle and team of Kader, Mohammad Al Bdour, Khalid Awwad and Mohammad Jaber who won bronze in relay event. The Games are continuing through to May 22 in Azerbaijan with Jordan’s medal count standing at tenth.
