JOC WELCOMES HOME MEDALLISTS

A delegation from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has welcomed home the karate and handball delegations that competed at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.

The teams arrived back to Queen Alia International Airport during the early hours with Bashar Al Najjar and Hala Traish who won gold and bronze medals respectively in karate.

The Games are continuing through to May 22 in Azerbaijan with Jordan’s medal count standing at five.
