JORDAN HANDBALL LOSE SECOND GAME

JORDAN have lost their second match in handball to Morocco at the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games taking place in Baku.
The side lost 27-16 but it was a better performance than their opener against Iraq. Khaled Abu Hassan scored six goals for Jordan for the second time in a row to be the team's top scorer.
The result leaves Jordan bottom of Group B with Turkey left to play.
BOXERS SET FOR FRIDAY START
Jordan's boxers have arrived at the Athletes Village to prepare for the opening of their competitions on Friday.
Coach Azzedine Aggoune believes his chArgers can make an impact.
“All the boxers are in good shape and ready to compete," he said.
“The draw will be tomorrow, and we only need to check boxers weights before that.”
Olympian Hussein Ishiash will be competing in the +91kg class and his younger brother Ziad is set for the 69kg.
Mohammad Al Wadi will also be in action in the 56kg.
Meanwhile, Team Jordan project Manager HRH Princess Zaina Al Rashed and Jordan Olympic Committee Secretary General Nasser Majali have arrived at the Athletes Village in Baku to support the team.
Karate, Judo, Shooting, Swimming and Tennis have joined team Jordan in the Athlete Village which will house 3500 athletes from 57 countries.
