MAJALI WINS GOLD IN ARAB FENCING

Jordan remain in second place at the Arab Juniors Fencing Championships following another successful day in Amman.
Ru’a Al Majali beat the UAE’s Nura Al Breki to take gold in the girls’ Foil competitions, with teammate Fatoun Al Taweel settling for bronze.
There was also a bronze medal for Jordan in the boys’ Foil thanks to Abdullah Al Dababneh’s efforts.
With one day to go, Kuwait remain on top of the standings with eight gold, four silver and eight bronze medals, while Jordan’s five gold, five silver and eight bronze cements them in second. Iraq are third with one gold, three silver and five bronze medals.
