May 07, 2017
Jordan have been drawn in qualifying Group C for the 2019 FIBA World Cup being held in China.
Today's draw in Guangzhou placed Jordan in the same group as Syria, Lebanon and India.
Group A includes China, New Zealand, South Korea and Hong Kong, while Group B contains Japan, Chinese Taipei, Australia and The Philippines. Group D includes Iraq, Qatar, Kazakhstan and Iran.
The qualifiers get underway in November when Jordan will play Syria first. The matches will continue through to February 2019.
The top three from each group will advance to the next round of Asian qualifying when the 12 teams will be divided into two groups. The top three will then qualify to the World Cup.
