GOLD FOR JORDAN AT ARAB CHAMPIONSHIP

Jordan has celebrated hosting the Arab Juniors Fencing Championships held at the Princess Sumaya hall in Al Hussein sport city by winning a gold medal.
Shahed Kloub has taken the Epee weapon (Female), while her teammate Janan Ishia won silver and Lebanon’s Janna Ammer and Jordan Dina Al Mansi shared bronze.
In the Foil weapon category, Lebanon’s Mary Joe took gold in the individual, while Jordan’s Ru’a Al Majali won silver followed by bronze medals for Areej Abu Deyh and Raneem Ali from Jordan.
In the Male Foil, Kuwait’s Ali Al Dashti won gold, while Jordan’s Amro Al Shak’ah won silver and Kuwait’s Ahmad Awwad and Abdulwahab Mohammad took the two bronze medals.
The Kuwait males dominated the Epee category by winning gold through Ahmad Al Mutairi, silver through Yousef Al Kirshan, while both Khaled Abdullah and Ali Al Fadli won bronzes. In Sabre, Iraq’s Ali Hassan won gold, followed by Kuwait’s Mohammad Al Fadli, while Kuwait’s Mohammad Hussein and Iraq’s Mohammad Hussein took the bronze medals.
