AL JAZEERA BACK ON TOP

 Al Jazeera took advantage of Faisali slipping up to move back to the top of the Manaseer Jordanian Pro League.

Faisali were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Hussein Irbid, but there were no such mistakes from Al Jazeera who beat Rumtha 1-0 at the King Abdullah Stadium to go top on goal difference.

The league’s top soccer Mardik Mardickian scored the only goal in the 42nd minute.

But it was a weekend to forget for Wehdat who saw their title hopes dashed following their disappointing 0-0 draw with That Rass in Karak.

That Rass moved out of the relegation zone to 10th as a result with Wehdat remaining in third, two points behind the leading pair.

The league has two more rounds to play so there is still everything to play for both at the top and at the bottom.
