JORDANIANS DOMINATE DEAD SEA TRIATHLON

 Kareem Othman has dominated the Men’s Dead Sea Triathlon that was based out of the Al Buhairah Resort.

Othman reached the finish line in 1 hour 3 minutes and 57 seconds followed by the UK’s Johnathan Baron who finished in 1:13:52, while France’s Martine Yan finished third in 1:14:52.

In the Women’s Triathlon, Anoud Al Awamleh won in time of 1:15:11, followed by Karina Othman in 1:20:20, while Mariam Sha’ban finished third in 1:25:53.

In Duathlon, Mohammad Al Swaiti won the men's a time of 1:04:09, followed by Rasheed Al Aqili in 1:04:38, while Omar Qamhyeh finished third in 1:04:54.

Meanwhile, the USA’s Leia Ayken won the Women’s Duathlon in 1:16:04s followed by Jordan’s Muna Jaber (1:18:47) and teammate Rula Al Rusan (1:22:09).

The Dead Sea Triathlon & Duathlon attracted over 120 athletes representing USA, UK, Malaysia, Brazil, France, Iraq and Jordan.
