JOC RECEIVES AZERBAIJAN AMBASSADOR

 Jordan’s participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku next month has been discussed in a meeting between Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and the Azerbaijan Ambassador to the Kingdom Mr. Sabir Aghabayov.

Mr. Aghabayov assured that Baku is ready to host the 4th edition of the Games and expressed his appreciation that Jordan will take part, promising a warm welcome for the delegation.

Mr Majali explained that Jordan will be taking up to 70 athletes to Baku to compete in 11 sports, and he also gave the ambassador a brief on the new sporting strategy for sport which was launched in January.
